Family and Leut Beach Bar – our oil by the sea

Leut is today the story of our whole family. Besides my wife and me, there are our five children, a son-in-law, two daughters-in-law and three grandchildren – and together we put effort and love into every step of making our oil.

One family, one oil

We are proud that we do everything together. From caring for the trees throughout the year to the harvest and bottling – every pair of hands has its job, and knowledge of the olive passes from generation to generation, just as in every true Dalmatian family. How it all began, with more than 500 trees planted by hand in the karst, is told in the story A love for the olive, carved into the karst.

Guided olive oil tastings

At Leut Beach Bar we host guided tastings of our award-winning oils. With us you will learn how to taste olive oil properly and how to recognise a truly great extra virgin oil: fresh fruitiness, gentle bitterness and a peppery finish that warms the throat.

Oil with your favourite dishes

A piece of Dalmatia to take home
